Acupuncture
- Tiny needles are inserted just under the skin to help correct imbalances in the body and help to restore health.
- Facial Acupuncture – Needles are placed on the face to help reduce fine lines and create more youthful, supple skin.
Functional Medicine & Nutrition
- Functional medicine looks at each patient as an individual and uses lab tests, dietary changes, and nutritional supplements to get to the root cause of health issues. This will include access to our online supplement dispensary. Lab tests and supplements are a separate charge. **All functional medicine/nutrition-only visits are done entirely via Telehealth, so you don’t have to leave your home.**
Cupping & Facial Gua Sha
- Glass cups are placed on the skin to help increase circulation and aid in the healing process; a gua sha tool is used to help improve circulation on the face and help reduce fine lines.

Your First Visit

Plan to spend approximately two hours with Dr. Timm on your initial visit. To save time, we will ask for your email address in order to send the paperwork to you before your appointment and REQUIRE that it be completed and brought with you. Dr. Timm will spend a great deal of time discussing your health history with you and reasons for seeking care to discover the root causes of your health concerns before proceeding with your first acupuncture treatment. The actual acupuncture treatment will last from 45 minutes to an hour. Please dress comfortably by wearing loose clothing that can easily be moved to properly access the appropriate acupuncture points.

**THIS APPOINTMENT MUST BE PRE-PAID IN FULL UPON SCHEDULING. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. YOU WILL BE RESCHEDULED IF YOU DO NOT BRING YOUR PAPERWORK. **

Follow Up Visits

Most follow-up appointments take approximately an hour to complete. Dr. Timm will talk with you about how you’ve felt since your last appointment and decide what treatment(s) are most appropriate for that day.

New Patient Useful Info

Please dress comfortably in loose-fitting clothing that is easy to move or remove for proper placement of acupuncture needles, cups, etc. Gym shorts/leggings, and a t-shirt/tunic are good examples. If appropriate, please bring a hair tie as well. Feel free to have a snack immediately prior to your appointment, but please do not consume a large meal or drink a large amount of water-it can be very difficult to relax during treatment with an overly full stomach or full bladder.

**If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, Dr. Timm reserves the right to reschedule. **
